Audience Voices: Reflections on Our 2025 Festival

We asked our audiences for their thoughts on our 2025 festival, and here’s what they said:

“Walking in Elgar’s Footsteps -over the Malverns to a recital at St Wulstans. Absolutely magical. Please do it again.”

“Huge congratulations and thanks to everyone who works so long and hard to create the Festival.”

I” enjoyed the quality of the performances, the venues and the friendly atmosphere. It was particularly good that the ‘shed music’ was performed in the venue where Elgar composed the music.”

“Hearing Elgar’s contemporaries’ work, in this case Ireland performed. Especially hearing the work by Ian Venables. This celebrates the continuity of strong choral evolution of classical music in Elgar’s home city.”

“As a participant, the chance to sing in a group I would not normally sing with and be part of this growing festival. As an audience member at the Gala concert, I thought the quality of the music was superb – so good to be able to attract top quality musicians. Also, there were a good range of events aimed at a wide audience, with some free events – so important. Such a wonderful event on my doorstep – hoping it’s even bigger next year.”

“Wide variety of events including free ones for families as well as more traditional concerts especially the fantastic Gala concert. Good choice of works performed and especially those featuring a local composer.”
