‘Elgar's Worcester’ Walking Tour

Join Discover History Home on an informative Elgar tour of Worcester. Visit the site of his music shop, hear of his interest in cycling and see the many haunts frequented by this great composer. Sites include his Glee club and St Georges Catholic church in Lowesmoor. A tour for Elgar enthusiasts and people with an interest in old Worcester.

Tour lasts: 90 minutes

Access details: The tour is accessible for all ages and abilities
Parking: no onsite car park but several local car parks within a short walk eg: Worcester Cathedral Square WR1 2BY and Crowngate WR1 3LZ
By bus: Any to Worcester City Centre then a 3 min walk
By train: To Worcester Foregate Street then a 6min walk 0.3 miles

Cost: £7.50 per person (payable on the day) (on sale soon)
